1. All broadband products are provided as best effort offerings worldwide.

3. Internet networks and electronic components are man made and will need maintenance from time to time.
4. Internet networks and electronic components are man made and will break down from time to time.
4.1 If you want internet uptime and speed guarantees you have 2 choices.
No 1. Be prepared to pay for an uncontended internet line. An uncontended internet line is a dedicated internet connection that's not shared with other users. This means that the line has a contention ratio of 1:1, with one business on one line.
No 2. Dual ISP Solution is when you have 2 or more internet service providers contracted to serve as backup connections.
Please ask, We can arrange both of these options for you.
4.2 Please prepare for outages or slower than normal speeds well in advance. The internet, cellular towers, satellites and fiber cables can fail, get damaged, break down when you need it most. Make sure you have more than one way to call for help, receive an OTP, send a mail or upload that important proposal.
5. Bandwidth Use Fluctuations; Caused by many users, suddenly and or unexpectedly trying to access the internet at the same time and the available bandwidth is overwhelmed.
6. What speeds can you expect? Speeds are determined by the service you choose. Broadband is an internet provision method influenced by many factors and we can therefore not guarantee a consistent speed. The devices we offer plays an important role in us giving you a great experience but because of the nature of any broadband network, we cannot offer any SLA's on the service.
7. When the internet’s not interneting as we expect, we understandably look at the ISP first. The problem may well be the ISP but there are several factors that can slow down your internet speed.
- Let’s put network congestion at the top of the list.
- Data caps imposed by your internet provider.
- Outdated old routers with poor Wi-Fi signal strength.
- Background applications, malware or viruses using bandwidth.
- Physical issues with your internet wiring.
- Your home network is congested.
- Your router may have a limited number of devices it can connect to simultaneously.
- Too many open applications and or open browser tabs.
- Outdated software and drivers.
- The operating system needs to reboot to install updates.
- Patch and App downloads.
- Your inhouse streamer is running a game update.
- Your kid gave the WiFi password to the neighbor.
- Your neighbor gave your WiFi password to his neighbors. Not even a joke.
- Your WiFi password is now on a chat group in case someone forgets. Also true.
- Your cell phone’s last restart was April 07.
- Multiple Netflix movies are being downloaded.
- The WiFi camera you got at China Mall last weekend.
- Automatic software updates on PC & mobile devices.
- Cell phone uploading birthday party pictures & videos, (all HD) to the cloud. 22.4 Gig in total.
- Game consoles and IoT devices are always connected.
- You are using a VPN on satellite internet and you are a huge fan of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
- You have several anti-virus packages installed. They all want the best for you.
- WiFi signal interference. Router behind a TV, microwave oven or inside a ceiling.
- You think the iPhone 6s is the best phone ever built when we all know it’s a Nokia 5110.
8. Here’s what we can do to improve our internet speed?
- You can restart your modem and router. Equipment restarts are hands down the most effective internet troubleshooting solution. This should always be your first step.
- Change your WiFi Password. Change your Router Login Password. Choose a decent password. qwer1234 is not a decent password. Try something like (OhMyGreatness##!2025*)
- Upgrade your router: Consider a newer router with better performance and range. The Cudy WR1300 is a good choice for home and business use.
- Download the Cudy App onto your phone. It makes it easy to change passwords and see who’s online.
- If you have a bunch of old range extenders, unplug them all and put them in your neighbor’s bin. Then purchase another Cudy WR1300 for decent mesh connectivity with massive range.
- Set up a guest network so you can keep your network secure.
- Use LAN wired connections for TV’s and Desktop’s as far possible. LAN cables are easy and fun to make up and can be up to 100 meters long. Your TV will feel brand new.
- Optimize router placement: Position your router in a central location, away from obstacles. WiFi signal can be heavily affected by water, water tanks or moisture in walls.
- Download the free version of CCleaner and scan your pc. If you can afford the R299 for the professional version, it would be money well spent. Its like having a little IT guy stuck in your computer.
- Close or even uninstall unnecessary, un-used applications. Check for programs using excessive bandwidth and close them. You can also have a look at your startup programs. Disable the ones that are not mission critical.
- Your home network might be congested. Congestion happens when you overload your internet connection with more devices and traffic than it can handle. To fix it, you can either lower your internet usage or upgrade to a faster plan. I know, No one likes this one.
- You need to update your devices. It’s not always your internet connection that’s causing the slowdowns; it could be one or more of your devices. If your slowdowns are limited to certain devices, you should start your troubleshooting efforts with those devices rather than your internet connection; sometimes, they just need a simple restart or update. This is not the case with an old Windows 7 PC.
- From here you might want to ask an IT person to pop in for a visit.
